The textile industry places a heavy burden on our planet’s resources. We believe that there is a different way of doing things, one that reduces our industry’s environmental footprint and makes the most of the limited resources available. We want to avoid valuable, dyed cotton from going to waste. That is why we mechanically recycle the textile waste from the garment manufacturers in Bangladesh into new fibers and yarns, without using water, chemicals or dyes.

All your products are carefully printed, marked and embroidered in PUBOS workshops in France.
Their screen printing worskhop has choosed to work with OEKO TEX CERTIFIED rutlands inks.
Ink is one of the most widely used products in our textile screen printing workshop and it can be harmful, both to our employees and to the environment.

At Beyond The Binary it’s essential to choose our partners, which is why we have AVL (Apparels Village Limited ) to make our T-shirts.
AVL is certified OEKO-TEX and has obtained the ZEproject 1 star certification (see the explanation of ZEproject below)

ZEproject is a collaborative initiative that strives to empower diverse gender offering equal opportunity and consideration in the global workforce.
Many compliance certifications are covering the gender equality already,but none of them considering all gender.There are also organisations in the world who certified companies “LGBTQI+ friendly”,but not in production countries so far !

Allies, pay the membership but the structure is too small or no diverse gender are qualified for the offered jobs.
2 stars :
Active recruitment, ostensible communication on ZEproject participation.
3 stars :
Successful employment of diverse gender person and adaptation of the workplace facilities are running.
4 stars :
At least 2% of the workforce are diverse gender and the companies facilities are adapted to them.
5 stars :
On top of having 2% of diverse gender among the employees they are also present in management level.
